Everyone has heard, “reduce, reuse, recycle” or “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Places like Goodwill and the Salvation Army have been around for decades but until recently, places that reuse or resell items have been majorly underutilized. With people re-evaluating what is important to them and realizing how important their green footprint is, the saying “reduce, reuse, recycle” has taken on an entirely new importance.
Right now, OstermanCron is seeing some major trends in the office furniture industry in regards to companies wanting to go green! The recent go green initiative has enabled OstermanCron to offer showroom tours of gently used furniture. This furniture has been purchased from companies when they are remodeling and changing their office design. Our partnership with DIRTT also allows us to offer another environmentally friendly option, a plant wall. A plant wall is beneficial in so many ways from being an indoor air filtration system to absorbing an excess of sound.
