As many of you know, the Pantone Color Institute releases a yearly color that is deemed on trend around the world. The Pantone Color Institute is known and trusted throughout the nation as the leading source of color information.

Drum roll please…. The 2018 color of the year is Pantone 18-3838 Ultra Violet. Not only is this important as it is on trend and you will see a lot more of this color around your daily life, but it communicates originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us in the direction of the future. With this thinking in mind, we at OstermanCron realize how important this color really is to incorporate into your daily workspace or office design.
When we associate moods with the blueish purple of ultra violet, we often think of serene or calming environments that allow people to come together in reflection or exploration. This doesn’t mean that is you should paint your entire office space Pantone 18-3838, but a few accent pillows or Joelle ottomans by Kimball may do the trick. After all it is only the color of 2018!
