As part of this organization’s continued expansion, they opened a state-of-the-art Orthopedic & Neuroscience Center, bringing advanced treatment capabilities to a modern, integrated facility. To ensure the environment reflected the clinic’s long-standing values of innovation, comfort, and community-centered care, they partnered with OstermanCron to furnish the new 50,000 sq. ft. building.
Project Details
The client sought a furniture solution that would balance welcoming aesthetics with the durability and functionality required in a fast-paced medical setting. With dozens of disciplines working under one roof, spaces needed to be intuitive, adaptable, and comfortable for both patients and care teams.
OstermanCron and Kimball International collaborated closely with clinic leadership and Detailed by Design, led by Marta Reppe, to develop a comprehensive furniture plan that supported workflow efficiency while creating a warm, approachable atmosphere. The project encompassed a wide range of environments, including:
- 42 private offices
- 2 conference rooms
- 3 café and lounge areas
- Clinical support and administrative spaces
To create a cohesive, high-performing environment, the space features Kimball International WaveWorks casegoods, Priority workstations, Fringe lounge seating, Joya task chairs, and additional products chosen for their aesthetics and long-term durability.
