Spending more time at home has probably allowed you to take some extra time to learn how to make those home-cooked meals that you’ve been saying for years that you would like to try. However, let’s not forget about the local restaurants that would love our support. With the influx of Cincinnati eateries, Restaurant Week has always been a big hit and we are excited to support it this week, even if it is virtually!
In support of our Cincinnati restaurants, the OstermanCron team wants to share with you a few of our favorite local spots, even if they aren’t on the official Restaurant Week list.
If you’re in the Oakley area, Abbie recommends stopping by Oakley Pub & Grill! Whether you’re in the mood for their well-known Wings, Burgers, Nachos or Buffalo Chicken Dip, this pub has something for everyone. Oh, and don’t forget the waffle fries for a side!
Scott couldn’t choose between two, so you might have a tough decision to make. Feeling a Cheeseburger and a cold beer? You must stop by Quatman’s Café – either their Mason or Norwood locations. But if you need your Mediterranean fix, place an order at Taziki’s Mediterranean Café. Whether you order the Grilled Vegetable Gyro or the Grilled Beef plate, you’ll surely be impressed.
Right down the street from our office and definitely a company favorite, Keith recommends the Silver Spring House. While most of our office indulges in their classic Chicken Fingers, Keith says nothing beats the Pete’s Special!
If you find yourself driving through Main Street in Mason, make sure you stop into Banana Leaf Modern Thai. Susan loves how fresh and tasty their food always is – delicious!
Looking for a seafood option? Carol recommends the Salmon Salad from DeSha’s and Amanda is putting a twist on sushi with Roll-On-In’s sushi burritos!
It is inspiring to see the ways that our community comes together, and changing up our weekly meals to support a local business is a great way to do it. Whether you try out one of our recommendations, or order a meal from Restaurant Week, you’re doing your part and we will be sure to do ours as well.
