A little construction here, some paint over there, and a sweep of all the furniture and employees! Okay, maybe not the employees, but definitely a huge portion of our showroom has been removed. The employees have been moved to temporary stations throughout the private offices and several other rooms. It’s been a busy and very loud the past few months. Our office space has had an influx of crews from various trades creating noise and disrupting the typical buzz of creative minds. We are knee deep in what our customers experience with every project we do. We’re going through a change… Again!
The beauty of a working office furniture showroom is that we get to practice what we preach. It’s important for us to prepare customers for the changes that are about to take place in their office design and make them feel as comfortable as possible in their new world. As a furniture dealership, it is our job to keep our product up to date with the current trends. We too will have to be shuffled around and make adjustments to how we’re used to working every day. We are right there with you.
You’re probably wondering why a curse jar was suggested? Well in a 13’x13’ office crammed with 4 “computer desks”, 2 book carts, a few bins, and four opinionated women, you can see why we might need a reason to collect for a happy hour. But in all seriousness, an office redesign makes for a great opportunity to get to know your peers better! In such close quarters, you have no choice but to adapt and collaborate while making the changes fun and proactive for the whole company. Happy moving and see you in the new and improved OstermanCron showroom!
