Company News, Insights, Tips and Trends

Wellness is one of the four main pillars of the OstermanCron WeBOC program. If you recall, WeBOC is an acronym for Well-being at Wellness is one of the four main pillars of the OstermanCron WeBOC program. If you recall, WeBOC is an acronym for Well-being at OstermanCron. So, aren’t “wellness” and “well-being” pretty much the same thing? The answer is “not really,” although the two are very similar. Wellness typically refers to our physical, mental, and emotional state of health. In contrast, well-being is more inclusive—it involves how you perceive your life as a whole and includes social and professional fulfillment.

For WeBOC’s well-being pillar, it’s important to recognize that everyone has a different starting point in their health journey, and we must meet people where they are in this quest. To appeal to a broad range of interests and needs, OstermanCron has offered events such as the OC 5K, Hydration Challenges, Sip-a-Smoothie events, and presentations by NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) on depression and anxiety. These are just a few of our programs so far this year, and there’s still more to come!

At OC, we believe that by offering a good mix of interesting wellness activities, there will be something for everyone who wishes to get involved. We all have our own path to wellness, and at OstermanCron, we offer WeBOC as a vehicle to help pave the way to personal feelings of contentment and well-being.
